name
Slánka is connected with a legend saying that this location has been an
important place for hawkers who delivered Salt from Prague to Nürnberg
in Germany in earlier days. Another legend tells us that Caesarean
Charles
IV. stopped by here to change the horses of his carriage when he was on
his way from his residence in the city to the Karlštejn Castle.
